Designer in Vancouver.
Crafting human interfaces to improve people’s lives.
From the very beginning of my journey as a human interface designer in 2010, making people’s lives better has been the strongest driving force behind my work. I’m proud that my efforts have made millions of people happier in small and more significant ways, but I’m also very humbled by how much they and my collaborators have taught me. I’ve learned to take my work, rather than myself, very seriously, and that’s how I’m able to focus on building meaningful experiences that hopefully inspire people to achieve something good.
It requires more than just passion to make this happen; it also demands empathy, critical thinking, attention to detail, and intuition—qualities I consider my most important abilities as a designer.
Inspired by art and technology.
Celebrating humanity through better design.
I have had a huge passion for technology and design since I was very young, and my concept of design has been unapologetically inspired by Apple ever since I got my first iPod mini. From that moment on, I began following everything Apple, often appreciating their latest products and marketing webpages in awe, even though I couldn’t afford most of them. This inspiration extended beyond hardware as well. I still remember the excitement I felt watching Jony Ive introduce iOS 7 (and the gasp when they announced the 1500+ new APIs) over a decade ago at a WWDC keynote watch party that my friends and I held.
Aside from work, I enjoy architecture, contemporary art, and nature. You will probably also find me on the tennis court on Friday nights.
